Lung cancer has long been thought of as a smoker’s disease. After I was diagnosed as a life-long never-smoker, I learned that nearly 20% of lung cancer diagnoses were people like me. Although it kills more people than the next four cancers combined, lung cancer receives only a fraction of the funding. It is time to change all that. We need a cure, not a stigma.
